Esther Simplot Park
Beginner
Only a 1 minute bike ride from the WhiteWater Lodge, grab a kayak and explore the extensive pond system at Esther Simplot Park. This is chill, flat water kayaking gold! Gear and info available at Idaho River Sports.
Whitewater Park
Intermediate
Only a 2 minute bike ride from the WhiteWater Lodge, the Boise Whitewater Park has 3 different waves of varying ability. The wave is shaped for Kayakers and Surfers on opposite days but both are always welcom. Rent a kayak at Idaho River Sports and go PLAY!
Main, North, or South fork of Payette
Advanced
Only a 45 minute drive from the WhiteWater Lodge, Cascade Raft & Kayak operates a great kayak/raft rental program as well as an unforgettable guided kayak/rafting experience. Everything from easy Class II to outrageous Class V is available on the Payette!
The Epic
Rafting Trip
Roughly 3.5 hours drive from the WhiteWater Lodge is 100 miles of non-stop rapids which make the Middle Fork of the Salmon River one of the best rafting trips in the world. Shoot through the heart of the Frank Church Wilderness Area and enjoy the DEEP wilderness!

You'll likely need to go with an outfitter as this is a permitted stretch of river and permits are difficult to get. This trip will change your life!!
